The Milwaukee Bucks bounced back from a Sunday disappointment with a good road win against the Washington Wizards on Monday.

Having slipped down to eighth in the East after losing two consecutive games, the Milwaukee Bucks couldn’t really afford to lose against the Washington Wizards in an early tip on Martin Luther King Day.

Those kind of stakes haven’t necessarily always guaranteed a reaction from the Bucks, but luckily on Monday, the players came out ready to play, showing a real hunger and aggression that ultimately their teammates lacked.

It was far from a perfect performance as many of the sources of frustration from Sunday’s loss in Miami remained in the Bucks’ play, but there were positive adjustments too.

Notably, the Bucks were able to find a functioning offensive gameplan again. After shooting 31.6 percent from the field, 14.3 percent from deep and managing just nine assists on Sunday, Milwaukee bounced back with 46.9 percent from the field, 50 percent from deep and 21 assists against the Wizards.

Even beyond their own play, the Bucks made life incredibly uncomfortable for the Wizards, in particular forcing their star backcourt into a host of turnovers

In the end, the Bucks grabbed a big win, as Giannis Antetokounmpo secured his latest personal record. Let’s take a closer look at how the game played out overall, though.
