The Milwaukee Bucks missed out on a great opportunity to grab a win against the Miami Heat as they fell away in the fourth quarter on Wednesday.

Without Giannis Antetokounmpo and Malcolm Brogdon, the visit of the Milwaukee Bucks to play the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday night had the potential to get really ugly.

In spite of a final score of 116-94, that never really transpired, though.

The Bucks put in a hard-working and spirited performance that included big contributions from many of those who were asked to step up in the absence of their teammates.

Both Tony Snell and Sterling Brown shot and defended well following their promotions to the starting lineup, while Khris Middleton put in one of the best performances of his career en route to his first ever triple-double.

As Joel Embiid, in particular, stood out for the 76ers, the game did threaten to get away from the Bucks on multiple occasions, but they somehow held on. So much so that if Thon Maker had released a turnaround jumper only a couple of hundredths of a second earlier at the end of the third, Milwaukee would have been within two points heading into the final period.

Instead, the margin was four. With a combination of increased defensive intensity from the Sixers and tiredness from Bucks players unaccustomed to their hefty minutes totals, Philadelphia managed to blow Milwaukee away in the fourth to secure a win that looked more comfortable than it often was.

How did the players perform individually on Saturday, though? Let’s take a closer look.
