The latest episode of our Milwaukee Bucks podcast comes with immediate reaction to the news that Jason Kidd has been fired as head coach.

The latest episode of our Win In 6 Podcast arrives ahead of schedule as we convened a special emergency edition to react to the news of Jason Kidd’s firing as head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks.

The news broke on Monday afternoon that Kidd had been relieved of his coaching duties, and those initial reports were quickly followed up by an official statement from the Bucks and a letter from general manager Jon Horst.

With all of that considered, we were left with plenty to discuss and consider in terms of what the Bucks do next in the short and long term.

More from Bucks News

We touched on what Kidd’s firing means for the Bucks’ future and just how big of a change it will be after the best part of four seasons.

We also discussed the reported impact the news will have on certain players, and even the influence it could have on the coaching staff that remains in place on an interim basis.

We also touched on the role of ownership and Horst in the final decision, and what the Bucks do now in terms of identifying their next head coach.

Lastly, we fielded questions from our jam-packed Twitter mailbag .

Joining me for this episode, like a butterfly breaking free of its cocoon, it’s Jordan Treske.
