The Wisconsin Herd were handed their fifth straight loss as they were outlasted by the surging Raptors 905 on Saturday afternoon.
If you were thinking things couldn’t go any lower for the Wisconsin Herd, their meeting with the Raptors 905 added to their longest losing streak of the season as they lost 106-95 to the reigning G League champions on Saturday afternoon.
Just moments after the opening tip, the Herd looked out of sorts as the Raptors 905 leapt out ahead right away to take a 13-2 lead in the game’s opening few minutes. But after head coach Jordan Brady called a timeout to regroup the squad, the Herd got back on track and within range of the 905 to trail 28-23 by the end of the first.

But things dragged back down to a standstill in the second quarter, this time for both teams. Thanks to Xavier Munford heating up late in the period, the Herd were within seven at the end of the first half.
It was in the third quarter when the Herd gave the Raptors 905 more than they could handle as they stormed back following a slow start to the second half to trail 71-67 at the end of three.
As soon as it looked like the Herd could break through and grab a hold of their first lead since midway through the third quarter, the Raptors 905 were able to fully separate themselves by sinking multiple shots from deep and finishing at the basket off of second chance attempts.
Despite a valiant effort, the Herd came away still in search of their elusive bounce back victory in their trip north of the border.
