Milwaukee Bucks: Takeaways from 107-95 win over Philadelphia 76ers
By Adam McGee
The Milwaukee Bucks continued their positive start under Joe Prunty as they took care of the Joel Embiid-less Philadelphia 76ers on Monday night.
After Giannis Antetokounmpo missed the first matchup between the Milwaukee Bucks and Philadelphia 76ers, Joel Embiid’s absence on Monday means the wait for a full-strength clash between two of the East’s rising forces continues.
Having lost the first game this season just nine days earlier, the wait for Milwaukee’s first win of the year against Philadelphia at least came to an end in this one, though.
A sluggish start that included a troubling willingness to allow the Sixers to get to the rim possession after possession may have sowed some early seeds of doubt, but the Bucks stayed focused on the task at hand and delivered the latest win of Joe Prunty’s perfect 4-0 start as interim head coach.

There were common trends to be found from those previous games too.
For the third game in a row, the Bucks held their opponents below 100 points, while managing to score upward of 100 points for themselves.
Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton also continued their recent stellar play, while perhaps even more encouragingly, Mlwaukee’s bench came up with significant contributions once again.
There was one negative element to emerge from the game as Eric Bledsoe played just three minutes before being sidelined with an ankle injury that had left him questionable to play in recent games. Even that was counteracted with some positive news, though, as Jabari Parker confirmed on the Fox Sports Wisconsin broadcast that he will return on Friday against the Knicks.
Before we move on to all of that excitement, let’s take a closer look at some of the standout elements and performers from Monday’s win for the Bucks.
