On a night when injuries overshadowed the play on the court, how did the Milwaukee Bucks grade in their loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves?
The Milwaukee Bucks were well-beaten by the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday night in a game where the actual minutiae of the action were pretty immaterial from a Bucks perspective.
Sure, Joe Prunty’s excellent start as interim head coach was tarnished by the Timberwolves putting an end to his four-game winning streak, but for more troubling reasons, the events of Thursday night in Minneapolis may well be remembered long beyond the final score.
With Jabari Parker set for his long awaited return from injury on Friday night, fate again dealt the Bucks a cruel blow as key players suffered injuries to counter that good news.

Certainly the most concerning and serious of the two injuries was suffered by Malcolm Brogdon, who pulled up after a transition layup with a non-contact injury in his left leg. As the reigning Rookie of the Year was helped from the court by teammates, Bucks fans who’ve been through this too many times before were left to fear the worst.
In maybe the truest sense of adding insult to injury, the Bucks had to deal with a further health scare as Giannis Antetokounmpo limped out of the game after twisting his ankle in the fourth quarter. It may not be all that serious, but even an injury that leaves the Bucks without their superstar for a couple of weeks could have disastrous results in a tightly-packed Eastern Conference.
It seems insignificant in comparison, but while everyone hopes for some positive news on the injury front, let’s take a closer look at how the players performed individually on Thursday.
