The Milwaukee Bucks were defeated in more ways than one as they were easily handled by the Minnesota Timberwolves Thursday night.

The #Prundefeated era is over for the Milwaukee Bucks as they were beaten by the Minnesota Timberwolves, 108-89, on Thursday night in the Target Center.

Entering the game without a significant piece in guard Eric Bledsoe, the Bucks were facing their first significant test since Prunty took over coaching duties a week-and-a-half ago. That was a challenge the Bucks were willing to meet midway throughout the first quarter, but the Wolves were able to separate and take a 23-17 lead after one.

It was in the second quarter when things fell apart for the Bucks as they not only dug themselves in a hole, but lost Malcolm Brogdon for the game and likely many more, considering the severity of how his injury looked.

While the Bucks were trying to regroup in any way they could, the Wolves raced ahead and built up a 21-point lead heading into halftime.

The Bucks were able to put up a bit of a fight throughout the third quarter, but were unable to make any leeway throughout the period with the Wolves leading 79-61 going into the third.

Even with the game out of range for the Bucks to make any sort of comeback, Prunty still rode the team’s starting unit for much of the final period before eventually pulling them to put in his reserves to put on the finishing touches for the night.

So without further ado, let’s dive deeper into what stood out in the Bucks’ loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday night.
