The Milwaukee Bucks return home after a lengthy road trip to host the rebuilding Atlanta Hawks in a Tuesday night matchup.
After a resurgence since the coaching change, the Milwaukee Bucks are approaching the All-Star break in the kind of position that isn’t all that familiar to them.
The Bucks are currently seven games above .500, and if they can manage to win on Tuesday night, they’ll move to eight games above for the first time since the first game after the 2015 All-Star break in Jason Kidd‘s first season in Milwaukee.
Trying to stop the Bucks from achieving that feat will be a young, hungry Atlanta Hawks team that owns the worst record in the Eastern Conference.

The Hawks currently boast the Eastern Conference’s longest running streak of consecutive playoff appearances, but that record is certain to come to an end this season as Atlanta commits to a fully-fledged rebuild.
With Mike Budenholzer in charge, the Hawks still do a lot of the right things and can step up to cause problems on any given night, but they’re simply working at a talent deficit compared to most of their rivals.
When the two teams met back in October, the Bucks picked up a routine win. Tuesday’s game will be a further test of Milwaukee’s ability to act like a good team in beating lesser opponents with minimal fuss.
With all of that in mind, let’s take a closer look at the action ahead, and how things might play out on Tuesday night.
