Although it certainly was too close for comfort late, the Milwaukee Bucks were able to edge out the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday night in the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
It wasn’t pretty at times nor was it wholly convincing in the end, but the Milwaukee Bucks got the job done versus the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday night as they won 97-92.
Returning back to their home floor following their four-game road trip out on the East coast, the Bucks certainly looked like a team searching for its rhythm in the beginning of the night, which would be evident throughout the majority of their overall performance.
With the Bucks looking very sluggish coming out of the gate, the Hawks leapt out in front to take control of the game all throughout the first quarter.

Trailing 24-21 going into the second, it was more of the same for the Bucks as they couldn’t establish any semblance of consistency throughout the period before going into halftime.
It was in the third quarter when the Bucks finally recalibrated and turned the tables on the Hawks as they outscored them 33-18 throughout the frame.
Leading 74-61 heading into the fourth, the Bucks couldn’t close the door on the Hawks, in part due to Giannis Antetokounmpo getting into foul trouble and the team’s offense getting bogged down for several minutes throughout the period.
But nearing the danger zone, the Bucks were able to click on the switch as they scored 16 of their 23 points scored in the fourth quarter in the final four minutes and 36 seconds of the game. Despite being able to keep pace with them in the waning minutes, that eventually proved to be too much for the Hawks in the end as the Bucks were able to wrap up the victory comfortably in the final minute of the night.
