The Milwaukee Bucks host the Denver Nuggets on Thursday night in their final game before heading into this season’s All-Star Break.
While the attentions of the Milwaukee Bucks’ players will very soon shift to a week of rest and respite — or in Giannis Antetokounmpo‘s case to the All-Star Game in Los Angeles — there’s still one final piece of business for them to attend to on Thursday night.
The Bucks will meet the Denver Nuggets for the first time this season, as one of the West’s most talented young teams make the trip to the Bradley Center.
In spite of missing marquee free agent signing Paul Millsap for much of the season through injury up until this point, the Nuggets are seventh in the Western Conference and right in the thick of a highly competitive playoff race.

Just one game out of fifth place and one-and-a-half games ahead of 10th place, every game matters for Denver and they can’t afford to take their foot off the gas on any given night.
As such, the Nuggets should offer a really stern challenge for a continually improving Bucks team, as Milwaukee looks to build on the good work they’ve done over the last few weeks.
With all of that in mind, let’s take a closer look at the action ahead, and how things might play out on Thursday night.
