The #R3TURN

The person many of you were showing up or tuning in to see, Brandon Jennings made his anticipated debut with the Herd on Wednesday night to great success, despite the loss for the team overall.

Getting a nod in the starting lineup from Herd head coach Jordan Brady, Jennings came looking to make a splash and did just that as he helped light a spark with his microwave-like scoring ability and his ability to set up his new teammates with flashy passes.

But as we grew to expect during his four-year stay with the Bucks, Jennings balanced that out by playing a little too loose with the ball in his hands throughout the night as well as launching shots away early in the shot clock on a few occasions.

In total, Jennings posted 31 points on 11-of-21 shooting from the field (5-of-12 from three), eight assists as well eight turnovers, three rebounds, one steal and was a -16 in his 36 minutes of action.

To cap off his illustrious return back to the Badger State, Jennings offered his perspective on what ended up being his memorable parting phrase while with the Bucks after the game, which comes courtesy of fellow BTBP staff writer and our official on-site Herd correspondent, Ti Windisch.

Ah, Mr. Jennings, it’s good have to have you back around here again.
