Despite their best efforts, the Milwaukee Bucks couldn’t seal another overtime victory versus the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday afternoon.

Just over 36 hours after being on the winning side of an incredibly satisfying and thrilling overtime victory, we saw the same situation play out for the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday afternoon, this time with them coming out on the losing end.

Of course, it took a while to get to that point as there were many twists and turns along the way, with each team dominating a half each, leading to all of us enjoying another five minutes of free basketball for the second straight game.

More from Bucks News

Entering the game, the Pelicans stood as one of a slew of formidable opponents the Bucks had to prepare for after the All-Star break, even in the aftermath of them losing DeMarcus Cousins in late January due to a torn left Achilles.

While this may come across with the benefit of hindsight, that certainly held true after seeing how the game eventually played out throughout the afternoon.

In the end, though, the Bucks were missing that extra element, shot, you name it, they needed to send them over the top on the Pelicans. Instead, they finish their two-game season series with the Pels getting swept, losing both games in heartbreaking fashion.

So without further ado, let’s dive deeper into the Bucks’ meeting against the New Orleans Pelicans Sunday afternoon and hand out some grades.
