No bones about it, the Milwaukee Bucks came away with a humiliating defeat to the Orlando Magic on Wednesday night at the Amway Center.

While it’s debatable to determine which point has been rock bottom in their season so far, the Milwaukee Bucks certainly made a case for Wednesday night with their miserable 126-117 loss to the Orlando Magic.

It didn’t seem that things would trend that way from the beginning, considering the Bucks had themselves a fine start by getting out to a 11-9 lead through the first four minutes or so. But the game flipped on a dime with the Magic heating up, especially from beyond the arc, as the Bucks fumbled their start by scoring seven more points in the quarter’s final seven minutes and 22 seconds.

Trailing 36-20 at the start of the second quarter, the Bucks got to work by chipping away at the Magic’s sizable lead. That they did as they gradually drew their deficit down to single digits throughout the second.

But despite making it a one possession game at the 4:10 mark of the second, the Magic curtailed the Bucks’ efforts by holding on to their lead comfortably, which they built up to 61-52 heading into halftime.

The third quarter proved to be the Bucks’ big breakthrough as it took them until the 4:48 mark of the frame to regain the lead for the first time since the first quarter. However, it was only fleeting with the Magic going on a 14-2 run from that point on, giving them a 91-80 lead after three.

As much as the Bucks generated plenty of offense to theoretically retake control of the game throughout the fourth quarter, their defense proved otherwise as the Magic finished off their hot shooting in style with little resistance on the Bucks’ part.

So without further ado, let’s dive deeper into what stood out in the Bucks’ loss to the Orlando Magic Wednesday night.
