The Milwaukee Bucks will look to keep pace in the Eastern Conference playoff race when they return home to host the LA Clippers on Wednesday.

There aren’t many teams who the Milwaukee Bucks have yet to play this season, but on Wednesday night one of those teams will make a visit to the Bradley Center.

In spite of significant changes last summer, further upheaval in the form of trading their star player midseason, and a slew of unfortunate injuries, the LA Clippers have been impressively competitive throughout the season.

After years of what many would describe as underachieving relative to the talent they had on their roster, it seems objectively fair to say that Doc Rivers‘ team are outperforming their collective talent level this season.

Still, in a highly competitive Western Conference that only counts for so much. The Clippers’ record of 37-32 is almost identical to the Bucks’ own mark, yet in the West that is only good enough for ninth place and two games back of eighth.

In other words, while the Bucks should have every motivation to want to get back to winning with regularity to set up a favorable playoff matchup, the Clippers are a team playing with the desperation of needing to win close to every game to stand a chance of extending their season beyond the next 12 games.

With all of that in mind, let’s take a closer look at the action ahead, and see which team can grab an all-important win on Wednesday night.
