The Milwaukee Bucks head back to Staples Center where on the second half of a back-to-back they’ll face the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday night.

Buoyed by a good win and an even better all-around team performance against the Golden State Warriors on Thursday night, the Milwaukee Bucks will have no time to rest as they’re straight back at it on Friday.

Having fallen off in the fourth quarter for a disappointing loss to the Clippers on Tuesday, the Bucks make a speedy return to the Staples Center, where the young, upstart Lakers will be their opponent on this occasion.

The Lakers have an obvious rest advantage having not played since a comfortable win over the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday, but Milwaukee’s concerns could extend beyond tiredness too.

Although both were able to play through and finish the game on Thursday, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton both picked up knocks during the win over Golden State. It’s not unusual for pain to flare up in such instances on the next day, meaning the Bucks may well have some injury news to monitor throughout the day.

Beyond that, the Bucks have plenty to feel good about following a game that included strong performances from all four of their most talented players. Now, the hope will be for a repeat performance against the Lakers.

With all of that in mind, let’s take a closer look at the action ahead, and see which team can prevail on Friday night.
