The Milwaukee Bucks followed up their win over Golden State, with a nail-biting victory in overtime over the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday night.

It would be typical of the Milwaukee Bucks to come off a victory over the defending champion, Golden State Warriors, only to follow that up with a complete dud of a loss at the hands of the Los Angeles Lakers the next evening.

Milwaukee appeared intent on bucking on those expectations.

The Lakers, while certainly not one of the better teams in the NBA, were not a team for Milwaukee to take lightly. They feature some nice, young talent on their roster. Despite missing their prized rookie, Lonzo Ball, due to injury, Los Angeles was still able to send out quality players like Julius Randle, Brandon Ingram, and Kyle Kuzma.

The game proved to be entertaining to start. Both teams came out red-hot with their shooting, and defense was an afterthought. It was like both teams were challenging one another to see who could allow the highest quality shots.

The Bucks wrestled control away, and pushed their lead to as high as 20 points, but a nightmarish fourth quarter saw the Lakers emphatically erase it and tie the game to send it into overtime.

Luckily for Milwaukee, Eric Bledsoe was on another level on Friday night and helped the Bucks snatch a victory from the jaws of defeat.

With all that being said, let’s take a closer look at the Milwaukee players’ individual performances from Friday night’s win in Los Angeles.
