The Milwaukee Bucks will look to wrap up their road trip with what would be a crucial win over the Denver Nuggets on Sunday night.

Despite starting the trip off in disappointing fashion, the Milwaukee Bucks head to Colorado to play the Denver Nuggets on Sunday with a chance to finish up their week away from home with a 3-1 record.

If they are to achieve that goal, the Bucks will have to put an end to a three-game streak of losses against the Nuggets, which would likely also involve finding a way to slow down Bucks-killer Nikola Jokic.

While Milwaukee’s long-term problems have persisted, wins in four of their last five games have included some overdue signs of positive play again.

More from Bucks News

Giannis Antetokounmpo‘s playing as well as he has at any point throughout the season, and as the playoffs edge ever closer, Khris Middleton is playing better than he has all year, while Eric Bledsoe has also shown early glimpses of possibly stepping up more consistently.

If the Bucks want a late season climb in the standings to come to fruition, this game really could be decisive in how things ultimately shake out.

Gary Harris is set to miss out on this game for the Nuggets, while John Henson and Thon Maker’s status remains unknown after recent injuries.

With all of that in mind, let’s take a closer look at the action ahead, and see which team can prevail on Sunday night.
