The Milwaukee Bucks suffered an embarrassing and costly defeat at the hands of the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday night at the Bradley Center.

The Brooklyn Nets came away from the Bradley Center with an upset win on Thursday night, although considering everything we know about the Milwaukee Bucks, there’s certainly a debate to be had about just how surprising it actually was.

As the Bradley Center era nears its end, the penultimate regular season contest in the building certainly had plenty of familiar themes from the rest of the Bucks’ time in the arena.

In particular, one of the Bucks’ more recent issues came back to bite them again.

The Nets attempt the second highest volume of three-pointers in the NBA, and if they were to play against the Bucks every night they’d have a chance at making a similarly high percentage.

Milwaukee’s three-point defense was exposed as the Nets made 19-of-39 attempts from deep, but the Bucks may still have been able to overcome that if it wasn’t for some issues on the offensive end too.

For all of their offensive gifts, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jabari Parker combined to shoot 13-of-42 from the field on Thursday night. After that, even a 31-point night from Khris Middleton wasn’t enough to save Milwaukee.

With all of that in mind, let’s get down to business and take a closer look at the Bucks’ individual performances on Thursday night.
