Head-to-Head

This is where projecting this particular positional matchup gets a little murky on both ends.

Considering the Bucks took on the Celtics twice in the first two weeks of the season, two weeks before Bledsoe suited up with the team for the first time, the eight-year veteran’s duels against the Celtics was only limited to two games this year.

With the Bucks going 1-1 in that pair of tilts, Bledsoe just hit above his season scoring output by averaging 18 points on shooting splits of .778/.571/.800, while underperforming his season averages in both rebounds (2) and assists (3.5) across those two contests.

Switching sides, Rozier’s matchups against the Bucks came as a reserve as he missed the final meeting of the season back on April 3.

As a result of that, Rozier’s numbers appear more modest than his late season performance and role change as he averaged 8.7 points on 42.3 percent shooting from the field and 40 percent from three, along with 6 rebounds and 2.3 assists.

For all those reasons, there’s little to go off of how this series could shake out when it comes to this individual matchup between Bledsoe and Rozier. We’ll get our first answer on this and a whole lot more come Sunday afternoon when the series tips off at 12 PM central time.
