Milwaukee Bucks: Analyzing John Henson/Aron Baynes matchup
The Milwaukee Bucks and the Boston Celtics will be hoping for their starting centers to make the most of their limited roles right from the tip off on Sunday
The seventh seeded Milwaukee Bucks will be entering Boston on Sunday with a lot of hope. Coming off a season where the results didn’t quite match the talent level, they’ll be looking to redeem themselves against the Boston Celtics in the first round.
As for the Celtics, Brad Stevens has guided them through the loss of both Gordon Hayward, and more recently, Kyrie Irving, to finish second in the East. Still, with the way things turned out, it’s rare that you see a 55-win team with as little talent as the Celtics are going to be playing with.
That being said, few enough Bucks fans fully trust the team to win when they should, and both teams desperately need all they can get from every player that will see the floor.

Of all of the starters, the centers for both the Milwaukee Bucks and the Boston Celtics have some similar features. Both see the floor less than typical starting centers would, at 18.3 minutes per game for Aron Baynes and 25.9 minutes per game for John Henson.
Neither are scorers, and they aren’t strong rebounders. It’s likely they won’t be heavily featured at all, and possibly even pulled during crunch time in favor of smaller guys, such as Horford and Giannis.
In a matchup that will hardly decide the series, but might help sway a game or two if things go a certain way, these big men will undoubtedly be mixing it up down low as they try to make an impact early in this series.
