Milwaukee Bucks 2017-18 Season Review: Shabazz Muhammad
By Adam McGee
Having signed with the Milwaukee Bucks late in the season, Shabazz Muhammad found ways to contribute in an important spell of his career.
After falling out of favor with Tom Thibodeau in Minnesota, Shabazz Muhammad was bought out by the Timberwolves and signed with the Milwaukee Bucks on March 4.
As a result, Muhammad’s time in Milwaukee was relatively short in comparison to his teammates, but considering his style of play it shouldn’t be seen as a surprise that he still found a way to leave his mark.
For better or worse, Muhammad is an all-action forward. He’s known for a single-mindedness that fuels his streaky scoring tendencies and an energy that ensures everyone watching knows he’s on the floor every time he steps on it.

There are plenty of teams where that would make for a horrible fit, but with the Bucks there were times when it certainly worked to the advantage of both player and team.
Muhammad played in just 11 regular season games in Milwaukee, averaging 8.5 points and 2.8 rebounds in 10.6 minutes per game, while shooting 55.2 percent from the field, 37.5 percent from deep and 89.5 percent from deep.
Muhammad also got a taste of playoff life, playing in four of Milwaukee’s seven games with Boston and averaging 6.3 points in 7.3 minutes per game.
The Shabazz experience for the Bucks ultimately equated to a blink and you’ll miss it roller-coaster, but it was a ride that was filled with a whole lot more thrills than spills.
So without further ado, let’s take a look at Shabazz Muhammad’s 2017-18 season in Milwaukee.
