Having returned midway through the year from his second ACL tear, Milwaukee Bucks forward Jabari Parker exhibited the potential and the risk that surrounds him ahead of an uncertain summer.

Four years into his tenure with the Milwaukee Bucks, forward Jabari Parker still remains something of an enigma.

We’re all aware of the path he seemingly was destined to take well before he entered the NBA and what made him a franchise cornerstone the minute the Bucks took him second overall in the 2014 NBA Draft.

We’re also aware of why he’s yet to realize that promise as his young career has been derailed on two occasions due to ACL tears, one coming in his rookie season and the second coming midway through the 2016-17 season.

The latter injury is why Parker’s season didn’t start up until February 2 of this year, nearly making it a full year since his last taste of in-game action.

With that setting the stage, there was plenty for Parker to prove in his condensed season, knowing his career is coming to an early crossroads as he’s set to enter restricted free agency on July 1.

All of those circumstances, along with the Bucks’ ongoing inconsistencies and midseason coaching change, made for a unique mix for Parker to come into and find his footing once again ahead of the crucial summer that now will dictate the next step in his career.

So without further ado, let’s look back on Jabari Parker’s shortened season with the Bucks this year, both the good and the bad and examine his future with the organization ahead of his restricted free agency.
