Win In 6 Podcast #218: Berries, bacon and Budenholzer
By Adam McGee
The latest episode of our Win In 6 Podcast arrives with reaction to Mike Budenholzer’s introductory press conference.
The latest episode of our Win In 6 Podcast arrives following Mike Budenholzer’s official introduction as Milwaukee Bucks head coach, as he addressed the media at a press conference on Monday.
Sitting alongside general manager Jon Horst, Budenholzer discussed the process that led to his hiring, his basketball philosophies and what excites him about the Bucks’ roster and the organization overall.
Luckily for a nonsense-filled podcast like ours, he also talked about breakfast and hard hats, while producing some truly wonderful facial expressions too.

To start with, we discussed how Budenholzer came across in the press conference, and the impression Bucks fans will likely come away with from it.
From there, we took a closer look at exactly what Budenholzer said, speculating on whether we could learn anything about the team’s defense or offense from his thoughts on Monday, and how certain iterations of his Atlanta teams make for easier translations to this Milwaukee group.
Lastly, we fielded questions from our listeners via the mailbag on the players best and worst suited to Budenholzer’s development program, press conference attire, and much, much more.
Joining me for this episode was the man who might be Bango, Jordan Treske.
