Milwaukee Bucks 2017-18 Season Review: Marshall Plumlee
Arriving midway through the 2017-18 season, second-year big man Marhsall Plumlee served as a two-way player for both the Wisconsin Herd and the Milwaukee Bucks.
All throughout the 2017-18 NBA season, two-way roster spots were something of a revolving door for the Milwaukee Bucks.
Of course, Milwaukee weren’t the only team in the league that significantly shuffled through the bottom end of their roster, which was likely an unintended circumstance when the roster mechanism was officially implemented in the new Collective Bargaining Agreement last year.
But with a grand total of seven players added on the roster by way of two-way deals, some of whom had their two-way contracts converted to full fledged NBA deals, the Bucks were quite active on the two-way market until the deadline on January 15.

And that’s precisely where Marshall Plumlee enters the picture.
The Duke product was brought in on the roster on the final day before the two-way deadline after being a member of the Agua Caliente Clippers of Ontario in the G League to that point in the year.
Once brought into the fold, Plumlee immediately slotted into the plans of Wisconsin Herd head coach Jordan Brady and served as an in case of emergency option for both Bucks coaches, Jason Kidd and Joe Prunty, over the second half of the year.
So without further ado, let’s reflect on Marshall Plumlee’s introduction to Milwaukee, go over the highs and lows in his play with the Bucks as well as the Herd and see where he can go from here.
