After uncharacteristically struggling, specifically with his three-point shot, during the first half of the season, Milwaukee Bucks swingman Khris Middleton finished off the 2017-18 season in impressive fashion.
Coming into the 2017-18 season, expectations were high across the board for the Milwaukee Bucks.
Sixth-year swingman Khris Middleton fell into that category, especially as he was looking to put a full season under his belt after a torn hamstring the previous season limited him to just 29 games.
Additionally, the offseason departures in which highly rated wing players such as Paul George and Jimmy Butler were dealt to the Western Conference opened up the door for Middleton to launch himself in the All-Star conversation coming out of the East.

As it turns out, a slow start for Middleton, his three-point shooting struggles and the Bucks’ overall inconsistencies under now-former head coach Jason Kidd didn’t fulfill the high bar that was set heading into the season, both on a personal and team level.
Just as many were debating whether this stood as the anomaly in Middleton’s trajectory or was a sign of things to come, the Texas A&M product quietly found his footing past the halfway mark in the season as the Bucks were looking to establish some semblance of consistency following Kidd’s dismissal in late January.
While the Bucks struggled to achieve that task, Middleton, however, built on his form, all of which set the stage for him to play some of the best basketball of his career in the team’s seven-game playoff run against the Boston Celtics.
So without further ado, let’s reflect on Khris Middleton’s season by looking at the strides he made as well as the concerns he displayed, highlight his best performance of the year and see what this summer holds for him.
