The latest episode of our Win In 6 Podcast arrives as we discuss the Milwaukee Bucks’ decision to sign Ersan Ilyasova and bring him back to the franchise.

The latest episode of our Win In 6 Podcast arrives as the Milwaukee Bucks were quick off the mark when free agency opened, tying up a deal with Ersan Ilyasova.

Ilyasova has already spent the majority of his career with the Bucks, and as such he’s no stranger to Bucks fans. Although he fits an obvious need for the team, I’m not sure anyone was expecting Milwaukee to come to terms with any free agency deal quite so quickly.

With their options incredibly limited for the summer, the Bucks will now likely have nothing more than low-cost, end of roster deals or a Jabari Parker contract to complete, barring a major trade.

More from Bucks News

To get started, we discussed Ilyasova’s contract, how he fits in with the Bucks, what signing him says about Milwaukee’s own perception of where the team is currently at and his existing relationship with coach Mike Budenholzer and his staff.

From there, we also touched on what Ilyasova’s signing and the Bucks’ actions so far likely mean for Jabari Parker’s free agency prospects, and the confusion and strangeness that surrounded Brandon Jennings‘ guarantee date early on Sunday morning.

Joining me for this episode, dealing live with his Glenn Robinson III heartbreak, was Jordan Treske.
