Christian Wood

Our final Summer Leaguer, Christian Wood is certainly a name that all Bucks fans are familiar with dating back to the 2015 NBA Draft.

A one-and-done product out of UNLV, Wood has primarily stayed stateside in hopes to fully breakthrough somewhere in the league after going undrafted three years ago.

While ultimately logging brief tenures on the NBA level, Wood has 30 games of NBA experience under his belt, with 13 of them coming during the “Process” era Philadelphia 76ers in 2015-16 and with the Charlotte Hornets during the 2016-17 campaign.

Being unable to carve out his place in the NBA, Wood has put up gaudy numbers with both the Delaware 87ers and the Greensoboro Swarm in the G League. Wood averaged a double-double (23.3 points and 10.4 rebounds) on shooting splits of .541/.321/.796, along with 1.8 blocks in 45 appearances this last season with the 87ers.

And still only 22 years old, Wood remains a tantalizing project to take on that could pay off for a forward-thinking team in the league, should he continue forging down this track for the foreseeable future.
