In their final game before heading into Summer League tournament play, the Milwaukee Bucks will hope to get to 2-1 with a win over the Denver Nuggets.

Following a hard-fought loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday evening in Las Vegas, the Milwaukee Bucks will be back at it on Monday night with a tough test ahead of them in their third game of 2018 NBA Summer League.

In their final game before seedings are finalized for competition play, the Bucks will match up with the Denver Nuggets, who’ve been one of the most impressive teams in Vegas through their first two games.

The Nuggets boast a perfect record of 2-0 following wins over Boston and Minnesota, and will have the advantage of a day’s rest having not played since Saturday evening.

Lottery pick Michael Porter Jr. is absent for Denver as he continues to rehab following back surgery, but with Malik Beasley, Tyler Lydon, Monte Morris, Petr Cornelie and Vlatko Cancar, the Nuggets certainly aren’t lacking in young talent on their Summer League roster.

The Bucks will have every reason to be disappointed about not bringing a perfect record of their own into this game, and as a result, they’ll likely be extra motivated to ensure they enter the tournament with a winning record.

With all of that in mind, let’s take a look at some of the key elements to watch out for ahead of Monday’s matchup with the Nuggets.
