Now that the Milwaukee Bucks have reportedly brought him on as a two-way player, we take a look at the remarkable journey Jaylen Morris has taken and how it’s all led him to the NBA.
Mere days after making the addition of undrafted guard Trevon Duval, a new two-way player appears to be added to the mix for the Milwaukee Bucks.
A little over a week after being waived by the Atlanta Hawks and subsequently landing with Fiat Torino, Jaylen Morris is Milwaukee bound after exercising the NBA out in his deal with the Italian club, per international basketball reporter David Pick.

Although the Bucks have yet to make the move official as of this writing, Fiat Torino confirmed Morris’ sudden departure in a statement to the invaluable international basketball site, Eurohoops.net, early on Thursday morning.
What is certain at this point is how this latest turn continues Morris’ once-inconceivable rise to the NBA.
After all, Morris was fresh off of finishing his four years at D-II school, Molloy College, and weighing what little options he had to launch his professional career only a year ago.
In the time since then, however, Morris quickly rose through the G League ranks to earn an opportunity, albeit a brief one, playing for the Atlanta Hawks near the end of last season.
Now the 22-year-old is slated to join the Bucks and reunite with a couple of familiar faces in new head coach Mike Budenholzer and assistant coach Josh Longstaff, both of which played integral parts in helping shape Morris’ budding career and NBA prospects.
With all that in mind, let’s take a deeper look at the journey Jaylen Morris has taken to get to the NBA, where his game stands at this stage and examine what he has to offer to the Bucks as well as the Herd.
