With training camp set to get underway for the new season, the Milwaukee Bucks spoke to the assembled media at the team’s 2018-19 Media Day on Monday.

As the Milwaukee Bucks gathered for their annual media day on Monday, prior to the start of the team’s training camp on Tuesday, in many ways it marked the beginning of a new era for the franchise.

Although there were some changes to the roster over the course of the summer, the core members of the returning cast remain in place, yet significant change is being shepherded in through a host of other meaningful ways for the Bucks.

After four seasons under the guidance of Jason Kidd and his staff, Milwaukee is set to embrace a new style and direction under the stewardship of Mike Budenholzer and his well-regarded team of assistants.

Of course, in a significant structural change, the Bucks have also moved on from the Bradley Center and will soon take to the court in the state-of-the-art Fiserv Forum.

Milwaukee’s future on the court has been bright for a while, but now it appears similarly positive off the court too.

Where in previous years continuity has been the buzz word, and bold predictions have been forthcoming, on this occasion the Bucks presented a more quiet and understated confidence, while sharing their clear optimism about the positive impact both Budenholzer and the move to Fiserv Forum can have on the team.

With all of that in mind, let’s take a look at the most notable quotes to emerge from Milwaukee’s media day from the owners, GM, coach, and, of course, the players.

Note: Thon Maker and Tyler Zeller didn’t speak to the media on this occasion, but will in the coming days.
