With the start of the 2018-19 NBA season now coming on the horizon, we preview Tony Snell‘s season by detailing some goals he can work towards accomplishing for himself and the Milwaukee Bucks.
Since being acquired by the Milwaukee Bucks shortly before the start of the 2016-17 season, Tony Snell has acclimated himself well into his second NBA home.
Snell’s blend of three-point shooting specialties, physical tools and defensive qualities made him a very feasible fit alongside superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo and the rest of the Bucks’ cornerstones. So much so that the Bucks decided to re-sign Snell to a four-year, $44 million deal on the opening night of free agency during the 2017 NBA offseason.
Whatever concerning signs or struggles Snell experienced during his previous stop with the Chicago Bulls looked to have been behind him following the end of the 16-17 season and into the beginning of last year’s campaign.

At least that was the case until toward the second half of the season. After a scorching shooting start to the year, a two-week long injury at the end of December interrupted Snell’s flow and hold within the Bucks’ starting lineup under former head coach Jason Kidd.
From there, Snell’s overall play went through major peaks and valleys, as did his confidence, which resembled his former self during the end of his Bulls stint. That only led to former head coach Joe Prunty decreasing Snell’s role near the end of the regular season and into the Bucks’ seven-game playoff series against the Boston Celtics.
Needless to say, the arrival of new head coach Mike Budenholzer might be exactly what Snell needs to rebuild his role within the Bucks’ rotation and potentially, the team’s starting lineup.
So without further ado, let’s look at a handful of goals Tony Snell can reasonably set and achieve for himself as well as the Milwaukee Bucks the coming 2018-19 season.
