Looking to build on his flash-filled rookie season, we set five goals for Milwaukee Bucks wing Sterling Brown to aim toward throughout the upcoming 2018-19 NBA season.

Of the players that are on the ground floor of their professional careers with the Milwaukee Bucks, it’s Sterling Brown that has become a magnet for fans to analyze his potential within the team’s foundation.

Brown’s rookie season last year gave us brief glimpses of what that may look like down the line, even if it was all too fleeting and inconsistent, based on his infrequent playing time for much of the year and his expected first-year adjustments to the NBA level.

Nonetheless, the former Mustang’s two-way capabilities on the wing have put him in a growing group of players on the Bucks roster that is absolutely essential for a Giannis Antetokounmpo-led team.

The addition of new head coach Mike Bundenholzer and his coaching staff may be the piece that helps transform Brown’s role and overall play from here on out.

Coach Bud’s pedigree of developing serviceable to starting-caliber wings such as DeMarre Carroll, Kent Bazemore and Tim Hardaway Jr. with the Atlanta Hawks was a featured element during his five-year reign before coming to Milwaukee.

When asked about how that could affect his ceiling as a player during this year’s Bucks Media Day late last month, Brown shed light on his mentality coming into his first year playing under the 2014-15 NBA Coach of the Year:

"“The sky is the limit. He’s got a great system. Offensive system, defense as well. He likes the floor spread and for guys to get up a lot of threes. I feel like it’s going to be good for myself as well as everybody else, but I’m definitely going to capitalize on every moment I get out there.”"

So without further ado, let’s pinpoint five goals for Sterling Brown to hone in on throughout the upcoming 2018-19 NBA season.
