Milwaukee Bucks: 3 things to watch for against Oklahoma City Thunder
By Adam McGee
Next on the preseason slate for the Milwaukee Bucks is a road game with the Oklahoma City Thunder, as Mike Budenholzer’s team hope to move to 3-0.
Following a substantial break between their first and second preseason contests, the Milwaukee Bucks will get into something closer to a regular season rhythm as they’ll play their second game in three nights on Tuesday.
The opponent on this occasion will be the Oklahoma City Thunder, as the Bucks continue their road trip taking them right toward the center of the country, by traveling from Iowa to Oklahoma.
Having lost their first game of preseason to the Pistons, the Thunder have since followed up with wins over the Timberwolves and Hawks, with Tuesday’s matchup with the Bucks acting as their final warm-up game before a marquee season opener against former hero Kevin Durant and the Golden State Warriors.

Billy Donovan‘s team will be looking to close out with a home win to ensure positive momentum and further fuel confidence heading into that matchup, but their preparations have been less than ideal overall as Russell Westbrook continues to miss out following arthroscopic surgery on his knee.
Luckily for the Bucks, injuries haven’t played such a significant problem, at least when it comes to the team’s top-end talent. Still, Milwaukee has their own set of issues to iron out and adjustments to make as they continue to acclimate to their new system and coaching staff.
Another win would certainly go a long way toward that goal and putting the Bucks in the best possible mindset to open the year, so that will undoubtedly be the aim on Tuesday night.
With all of that considered, let’s take a closer look at some of the key elements to watch out for from Tuesday’s matchup.
