Heading into a big contract year and his sixth campaign as a member of the Milwaukee Bucks, we lay out five goals for Khris Middleton to accomplish throughout the 2018-19 NBA season.

Having long been a steadying presence for the Milwaukee Bucks, Khris Middleton’s on the cusp of an interesting campaign that will certainly receive plenty of attention from Bucks fans due to his impending free agent status.

While superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo has garnered all of the headlines for the exponential leap he seemingly makes year after year, Middleton’s well-rounded play has largely avoided such attention by the masses.

As a result, Middleton’s long been mentioned as one of the more under-appreciated players by those who who follow the game, the equivalent of being called a comedian’s comedian.

However, Middleton’s dazzling performance during the Bucks’ playoff run last year may have changed that narrative in a significant way, considering the level of production he put up in his trademark stealthy fashion.

All that’s left for Middleton in order to cement his status as one of the top swingmen in the league is to help deliver the team success the Bucks have long aspired to having, which he quickly acknowledged in his availability during at this year’s Bucks Media Day:

"“We’ve been saying it for a couple of years that we’re ready to take that next step and win a playoff series, but it hasn’t happened yet. I’m excited for this year with the team that we have and a fresh start with a new coaching staff, and being in this great building. But we definitely have the pieces to do what we need to do, it’s just a matter of going on the court and actually doing it now.”"

So without further ado, let’s preview Khris Middleton’s seventh NBA season by detailing five goals for him to knock down over the course of the 2018-19 campaign.
