Ahead of the Milwaukee Bucks’ season opener, the Behind the Buck Pass staff got together to discuss expectations and hopes for the season overall.
They may have already had a test run of sorts with the preseason, but a new era of Milwaukee Bucks basketball will officially get underway on Wednesday night.
The Bucks will tip-off the franchise’s 51st season on the road against the Charlotte Hornets, before returning to their new home to face the Indiana Pacers in Fiserv Forum’s first regular season game on Friday.
Adding to the excitement, the Bucks have a new coaching staff, with a proven track record, set on modernizing the team’s style of play.

Of course, that only adds to the excitement and potential created by having a star of the caliber of Giannis Antetokounmpo, something the Bucks arguably haven’t possessed since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar left for the Lakers in 1975.
With all of that acting as the backdrop, it’s safe to say the Bucks might have more eyes on their play this year than they’ve had for quite some time, and sufficient reasons for fans to feel optimistic.
To talk about all of that and the various questions that loom large over the start of the season, our Behind the Buck Pass staff gathered together for a special season opening roundtable.
