The Milwaukee Bucks eviscerated the somewhat short-handed defending champion Golden State Warriors Thursday night to even up their ongoing road trip out West so far.

In what stands as their signature win of the young season, the Milwaukee Bucks stomped the Golden State Warriors for a shocking rout Thursday night in Oracle Arena, winning 134-111.

Considering the amount of anticipation all Bucks fans had heading into the night, the opening 12 minutes didn’t disappoint as the Bucks and the Warriors played a tightly contested first quarter that ended up going in the Bucks’ favor as they led 32-29 after one.

That rhythm carried over into the start of the second quarter, though, with the Bucks fending off the Warriors to protect their minimal lead and keep them at an arm’s length.

However, that minimal lead ballooned up into a double-digit margin, thanks to the three-man wrecking crew that superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, Eric Bledsoe and Pat Connaughton posed to be throughout the period, considering that Big 3 produced all 32 of the Bucks’ points in the quarter.

Leading 64-51 coming out of halftime, the Bucks put their foot down on the proverbial gas pedal to truly break open the game in their favor, eventually outscoring the Warriors 41-28 throughout the third quarter.

Holding a 26-point lead to start the final frame, the Bucks leaned on a mix and match of their starters (minus Antetokounmpo) and key bench unit players to put the game fully out of the Warriors’ reach, which came at around the 6:44 mark.

It was from that point on that the Bucks’ clean up crew were able to put the final bow on the night and cap off an exhilarating win in what has certainly been an exhilarating start to the 2018-19 season for the Bucks.

So without further ado, let’s break down the Bucks’ win over the Golden State Warriors, starting with the showing Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo put in last night.
