Win in 6 Podcast #251: Unpacking the Khris Middleton benching
By Adam McGee
The latest episode of our Win In 6 Podcast arrives as we unpack what Khris Middleton‘s benching says about the Milwaukee Bucks’ culture, and the changes being introduced.
Our Win In 6 Podcast returns as we discuss Khris Middleton’s extended spell on the bench on Saturday evening, and the wider discussion its sparked, the Milwaukee Bucks’ tough upcoming schedule, and much more.
As the Bucks built up a sizable fourth quarter lead against the Knicks, Middleton’s place on the bench may have seemed insignificant. But as the Bucks ultimately gave up that lead through the rest of the game and overtime, the failure of Middleton to return to the floor clearly spoke of a much greater point being made by Mike Budenholzer.

To begin with on this occasion, we discussed the potential repercussions of that move from Budenholzer, as well as how Middleton may react, and how the larger point being made by the coach may be received by the rest of the Bucks’ squad.
From there, we discussed a particularly tough stretch of schedule that lies ahead for the Bucks, and some of their rivals, and what it will teach us about their credentials for the months ahead..
Joining me for this episode, and certainly not podcasting in Spanish, is Jordan Treske.
