Milwaukee Bucks: Grading the offseason acquisitions after 23 games

With over a quarter of the regular season done, we can begin to grade how well general manager Jon Horst did in the offseason. Here’s how valuable each new Milwaukee Bucks acquisition has been so far.
On Wednesday night the Milwaukee Bucks finished off their 23rd game of the season, which puts them a little over a quarter of the way through the 82-game regular season.
With a sizeable sample to pull from, now seems like a good time to take stock of the players the Bucks acquired over the past offseason who are key pieces for the team.

The Bucks aren’t normally big spenders in free agency, but they made a couple of key signings in veterans Brook Lopez, Ersan Ilyasova and Pat Connaughton. They also drafted Villanova guard Donte DiVincenzo in the first round earlier in the offseason.
It was the first full offseason for general manager Jon Horst (hired to the position in June of 2017) and with new head coach Mike Budenholzer. How did they do? How have the new players they’ve brought in to help build a contending team around Giannis Antetokounmpo panned out a little over a quarter of the way through the season?
Let’s take a look at how the Bucks acquired each new player, what the return on investment has been up to this point and give a grade to management on the move.
