The latest episode of our Milwaukee Bucks podcast arrives with analysis and discussion about the potential emergence of D.J. Wilson and Sterling Brown as key contributors in the rotation.

The Win In 6 Podcast returns for our final episode prior to the holidays to break down the festive gift that has been bestowed on Milwaukee Bucks fans in recent games.

That gift can be described in a larger sense as the obvious development of a variety of role players — the kind of growth which everyone from a Milwaukee perspective had hoped to see play out when Mike Budenholzer and his staff were hired by the Bucks.

More specifically, the most obvious examples of that growth have been the Bucks’ 2017 draft picks, as both D.J. Wilson and Sterling Brown have starred in crunch time minutes over the past week.

Brown has long been viewed as a high potential wing among Bucks fans, yet it’s safe to say he has started to show new wrinkles to his game of late. But it’s Wilson who has really set discussion abuzz by going from a player who had rarely played since being drafted — and who most Bucks fans wanted to see waived — to a stellar rotation big that was suddenly equipped to thrive in matchups against Blake Griffin and Anthony Davis.

We discussed all of the implications of such growth from Milwaukee’s young role players, and how a changing approach to the G League could be helping to fuel that growth under Budenholzer.

Beyond that, we also fielded a variety of questions from our listeners via the latest edition of the mailbag.

Joining me for this episode, taking time out from checking potential flight paths with his reindeer, is Jordan Treske.
