Although they had to work harder than they’d originally have liked, the Milwaukee Bucks secured a win over the Orlando Magic on Saturday night.
The Milwaukee Bucks kept the train on the tracks on Saturday night in Orlando, maintaining their hold on the Eastern Conference’s top spot through a game that was almost certainly more challenging than anticipated.
On the second night of a back-to-back, and playing without Aaron Gordon, the Magic showed impressive fight and resolve in weathering early Bucks’ storms, and fighting their way into the game in the second half.

Nikola Vucevic was key for Orlando, reproducing the kind of form that may earn him his first All-Star berth, as he knocked down 27 points. The Montenegrin center proved to be a tough matchup for Brook Lopez, yet Milwaukee’s center did all within his power to protect the rim by coming up with a season-high six blocks.
Sharpshooting from Jarell Martin and a second half flurry from Terrence Ross provided hope for the Magic, but ultimately they were outclassed by a far deeper and more talented team.
Giannis Antetokounmpo posted a routine, by his standards, 25 points, 13 rebounds and five assists. Malcolm Brogdon and Khris Middleton added 18 and 15 points, respectively. While Eric Bledsoe was the star of the show with a 30-point outing.
