Milwaukee Bucks: Takeaways from 2019 NBA All-Star Game
Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo‘s All-Star squad fell late to Team LeBron Sunday night at the 2019 NBA All-Star Game in Charlotte.
This year’s All-Star Weekend went out with a bang with its main event, that being the 2019 NBA All-Star Game, putting on a show as Team LeBron edged past Team Giannis 178-164 at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte.
Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo quickly set the tone for his squad after the opening tip by attacking the rim and throwing down dunks left and right. His running mate in Khris Middleton added on to the offensive onslaught by doing damage from long range, all of which helped Team Giannis hold a 53-37 lead at the end of one.

While Team Giannis couldn’t hit the same notes in the second quarter, they certainly didn’t slow down offensively as Team LeBron looked to come back within range of them.
Small progress was made on that front as Team Giannis took a 95-82 advantage into the halftime break.
Following the musical stylings of one J. Cole for the game’s halftime show, Team Giannis increasingly showed signs of slippage that opened the door for Team LeBron to make their move.
That they did, and thanks to a three-point outburst by a whole sort of contributors such as Damian Lillard and Klay Thompson, Team LeBron broke through to carry a 132-131 lead through three.
While Team Giannis didn’t go down without a fight, their growing ineffectiveness led to Team LeBron taking full control in the final several minutes of the night before officially securing victory.
