Milwaukee Bucks: 3 takeaways from 131-114 win over Charlotte Hornets

The Milwaukee Bucks racked up a milestone 50th win of the season on Saturday as they got the better of the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday night.
It wasn’t convincing from start to finish, but the Milwaukee Bucks proved their quality once again on Saturday as they prevailed with a home victory against the Charlotte Hornets.
Against the backdrop of an incredibly memorable season, this game will likely blur into an extensive collection of wins, but the timing of this success was certainly notable as it marked Milwaukee’s 50th W of the campaign.

Of course, that’s a mark the Bucks have been striving toward as a franchise for quite some time, having last achieved the feat back in 2001 when George Karl‘s team logged 52 wins on their way to the Conference Finals.
With 16 games remaining for Milwaukee, the opportunity to round out one of the best regular seasons the franchise has ever seen still remains too.
On this occasion, the Bucks didn’t look all that inspiring throughout the first half, but fueled by tremendous activity from Donte DiVincenzo, a paint-dominant effort from Brook Lopez, and a strong Giannis Antetokounmpo showing fueled by back-to-back three-point makes, Milwaukee found more than enough to ultimately come away with a 17-point win.
