With just 12 games remaining, the regular season finish line is very much in sight for the Milwaukee Bucks.
For as much as they’ve achieved already this season, there are still a couple of major goals to be checked off for Mike Budenholzer’s team, and the visit of the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night should give them a great opportunity to get a start on that front.

The Bucks are moving into what should be a softer stretch in their schedule, with the Lakers, Cavaliers (twice), and Heat making up their next four games. If Milwaukee was to simply take care of business and rack up four wins from four during that spell, a .500 record over their last eight games would then be enough to hit the 60-win mark and likely lock up the NBA’s best record in the process.
All of that should be manageable for the Bucks, even as they hit their first real patch of adversity on the season. That should become particularly apparent when they get a look at what NBA adversity really looks like with the visit of the struggling Lakers.
