Bucks Gaming consolidate strong start with week two split
By Adam McGee
After a perfect start in week one, Bucks Gaming consolidated their position among the NBA 2K League’s best teams with a week two split.
The combination of advancing from their group in the Tip-Off Tournament and a perfect 2-0 start to the regular season put the rest of the NBA 2K League on notice that this year’s Bucks Gaming group look set to be a real contender.
Although Milwaukee’s first loss arrived on Wednesday, that sense wasn’t lessened at all this week, as the Bucks bounced straight back with a dominant win on Thursday night.

With two games in both of the season’s first two weeks, Milwaukee has had a busy schedule to start the new season, with no other team matching their games played total in the early running.
Getting the chance to bank some early wins certainly hasn’t hurt the Bucks, though, and with the second tournament of the season coming up on the horizon, Milwaukee should be in with a great chance of securing a top seed in the weeks ahead.
Returning the focus to this week, the Bucks’ week got underway in a matchup with Pistons GT, that mirrors the current clash going on in the playoffs of the NBA proper, while they followed that up with a much anticipated rematch with Heat Check Gaming.
With the scene set for this week’s action, let’s take a closer look at how those two games unfolded.
