From the moment the 31-year-old was picked off the scrap heap after his hometown team, the Los Angeles Lakers, elected to look elsewhere in the open market last summer, Lopez was seen as a savvy game-changer for the Bucks.
Between his hulking presence and his personal three-point revolution that had been brewing over the last couple of years between his stays with the Brooklyn Nets and the Lakers, Lopez fortified what had been an inadequate center rotation the previous year.
And as the Bucks proved to not only be a problem for fellow contenders in the Eastern Conference, but climbed to the best record in all of the league throughout the regular season, Lopez was at the heart of the formula that head coach Mike Budenholzer and his staff concocted to unlock the talents of Lopez, himself, along with his core dynamic players and superstar, Giannis Antetokounmpo.
So without further ado, let’s dive into the good, the bad and the in-between regarding Brook Lopez’s 2018-19 season with the Milwaukee Bucks.
