Milwaukee Bucks 2018-19 Season Review: Pat Connaughton
By Adam McGee
Pat Connaughton had an up and down season in his first year with the Milwaukee Bucks, but he found a way to contribute to the team’s success.
After spending the first three seasons of his career with the Portland Trail Blazers, free agency brought a new experience for Pat Connaughton last summer as he signed a two-year, $3.3 million deal with the Milwaukee Bucks.
One year on, Connaughton can certainly feel positive about how that next chapter in his NBA journey has gone so far.

In fact, Connaughton even referred to this as his “favorite” season to date, as he made his first trip to the Conference Finals, and played a meaningful role on a team that racked up 60 wins and secured the NBA’s best record.
Beyond all of that, Connaughton seemed to really embrace his new team, becoming one of the most important voices and role models in the locker room.
Connaughton gained a reputation for being a great teammate, one of the Bucks’ hardest workers, and he was credited with driving the team to come back early for summer practice sessions. That influence, along with plenty of strong performances on the court, made for a strong season for the swingman.
So with that in mind, let’s take a closer look at the year that was for future Irish national team star, Pat Connaughton.
