A career year packed with great achievements, and positive news for his long term future and financial security ultimately ended on a sour note for Eric Bledsoe.
Even weeks after the fact, it’s difficult to process which bears more weight, and which will make for the lasting impression of his season in time.

Bledsoe earned long overdue All-Defensive honors for the first time, had a legitimate All-Star case, and more often than not stood out as one of the stars of a team that won 60 games and finished the regular season with the league’s best record.
Much like 12 months ago, the playoffs failed to bring out the best in the Alabama native, though.
Already rewarded for his play with an extension that will see him return to Milwaukee next season and beyond, Bucks fans would be all too happy to see the best of Bledsoe for many years to come. It’s the worst of him, and his tendency to become that version of himself at the worst possible moments, that raises bigger questions.
