Giannis Antetokounmpo will be wearing his signature Zoom Freak 1 sneakers next season, but what would it look like if there was a colorway for each of his Milwaukee Bucks teammates?

Giannis Antetokounmpo enjoyed an MVP season with the Milwaukee Bucks last year, coming within two games of the NBA Finals. Behind the scenes and through it all, Nike was getting ready to launch his signature shoe, the Zoom Freak 1s.

With those shoes having hit the market and by all accounts having been well received over the past two weeks, they’ve now moved on to a new and exciting stage in their life cycle, though.

More from Bucks News

Two weeks after the June 28 official launch date of the Zoom Freak 1s, Nike went on to add the Zoom Freak 1 By You platform, allowing anyone with internet access a chance to create their very own pair right down to the color of the laces and the stitched number on the heel. This gave every Joe and Jane Everyman full design rights to the long-awaited shoe line.

So with the power of customization at our fingertips, and the dog days of the NBA offseason just beginning to set in, I went ahead and did the work for the rest of the Bucks roster and compiled each player a pair of Zoom Freak 1s of their own.

I left off the Freak himself, as he has already taken the time to customize just a few things with the shoe. I also left off his brother, Thanasis Antetonounmpo, as the Antetokounmpo brothers already have their own version, the Zoom Freak 1 All Bros.

Beyond the Antetokounmpo duo, there were 11 other players that needed their shoe built. Many renderings were based off the shoes worn during the 2018-19 season, while some were based off of other endearing factors (see: the Lopez brothers).

As a quick disclaimer, each screenshot below is my own personally created rendering shared directly from the Nike Zoom Freak 1 By You website, with my own made-up shoe line name for each. These are not actual shoe lines, and of course a number of Bucks players aren’t currently Nike clients. Perhaps a look at these mockups may make them reconsider, though!

Without further ado, let’s get underway by taking a look at the options for Giannis’ returning teammates in the starting lineup.
