It’s that time of year again, and although the FIBA World Cup is giving NBA fans plenty of basketball to enjoy at present, the release of a particular video game last Friday signaled that the start of the new NBA season is now just around the corner.
2K Sports’ NBA series of games has long been established as the most popular and successful devoted to the world’s most high profile basketball league, and the release of NBA 2K20 is unlikely to do anything to change that.

Of course, I’m referring to the annual buzz that surrounds individual player ratings, and which frequently involves the players themselves getting involved in the discussion on social media.
After a summer of change, and in the aftermath of a 60-win season, the Milwaukee Bucks’ ratings offer more cause for intrigue than usual this year.
