As the Milwaukee Bucks look to open up this year’s training camp in a few days, we look at the players that face an uphill battle to make the opening night roster.

The Milwaukee Bucks are set to lay the groundwork needed to surpass their sensational 2018-19 campaign.

Following their annual Media Day on Monday, the Bucks will kick off their 2019 training camp on Tuesday and the road to a potential NBA title will start in the state capital as the Bucks will open camp in Madison as the Wisconsin State Journal reported late last week.

Of course, it will mark the beginning of the Bucks’ mission to find similar results as they experienced last season and even more so as they contend for an NBA title against a whole onslaught of challengers.

That means, for the key pieces the Bucks have on their roster, a chance to gather some rhythm with a few of the key free agent additions the Bucks made this offseason that were designed to improve the team’s depth ahead of a long, arduous campaign.

For others, though, this year’s training camp will be a battle ground to fulfil their long-standing dreams of making the NBA. But it’ll be quite the long shot for some of the undrafted or second-year players the Bucks picked up to contend for a spot on the opening night roster, even if there may be an opening in the long run.

So without further ado, let’s look at the group of current Bucks players that will be looking to make a strong impression in hopes of making the team’s opening night roster for the 2019-20 season.
